Boston Ferns with frost damage. This picture was taken January 14, 2010 about 1 week after a hard freeze and several nights of frost.  In previous years these ferns survived without any damage.  Simply cut off the damaged foliage immediately.  There is no need to wait for spring as this plant grows from the ground.
