of our regularly scheduled visit. If control is not satisfactorily achieved and it becomes necessary to re-treat, it will be done for no additional charge to our customer.
We do not offer or imply any lawn replacement guarantee. There are many variables that are outside of our control, such as, but not limited to, the amount and frequency of water supplied to your lawn. In lawns that are regularly monitored and treated for the control of turf damaging insects, it is rare that significant portions of the lawn are ever lost to pests. More commonly, poor sprinkler coverage, damaged or non-functioning sprinkler heads, pump or timer failures are the cause of turf damage.
In Southwest Florida, our dry season usually begins in March and gets progressively more severe until our regular summer rains begin. Usually in mid to late June. Many communities severely restrict the amount and frequency of permitted lawn watering.
It is a fact that in Southern Florida, with its sandy soils and extremely hot temperatures during the summer, it is possible for a lwan to become stressed from drought like conditions in just a few days without rainfall. Our sandy soils simply do not retain moisture in these conditions. Any time these conditions exist, St. Augustine turf can become rapidly damaged and even die because St. Augustine rhizomes (runners) are all above the surface of the ground. If the rhizomes dry out completely death will occur.
